Highest Paying Video Poker Games at Ontario’s PlayOLG Online Casino
Contrary to popular belief, video poker actually tops the list of highest paying casino games. Most people naturally assume that title belongs to blackjack, but that’s rarely the case. With such high payouts, a lot of strategists prefer video poker to other high-RTP casino games.
Like blackjack, video poker offers the ability to use a precise strategy for any and all situations. In contrast, though, these are solo games. There’s no one waiting on you; no rush to make a decision. You can take all the time you need, and even use a strategy app to double-check your moves before you act.
Not every video poker game is worthy of such a high ranking, but a classic game of Jacks or Better with 9/6 Full Pay delivers long-term returns of 99.54%. That’s on par, if not better, than most online blackjack games. Deuces Wild, with the right pay table, carries an even higher RTP of 99.73%.
You’ll find both of these games and more at Ontario’s home-grown PlayOLG Online Casino. We’ve taken the liberty of researching each and every video poker game on their ever-growing menu, to provide our readers with a complete list of video poker titles and their corr4esponding RTP (highest to lowest).
PlayOLG’s list of video poker games appears rather short on the surface. That’s because the online casino employs IGT software to power its video poker selection. Each of IGT’s titles is actually a compilation of games. For example, Game King Video Poker is just the front name for a single software program that contains 9 different video poker games. Similarly, Ultimate X Video Poker contains the same 9 games, but with different pay tables; thus varied RTPs.
To compensate for these subdivisions, I’ve decided to create three different lists, detailing the three different groups of video poker games on offer. Within each is the full list of 9-games, with RTPs, in order from highest to lowest. I’m starting with Game King Video Poker as it carries the highest RTP video poker game overall, Deuces Wild (99.72%).
Bear in mind that these RTPs do not come naturally. One must apply perfect strategy in every decision. Even then, thanks tovideo poker volatility, only long-term results will reflect the intended return.
Pro Tip:What is Full Pay?
In the tables below, you’ll see each game is listed as ‘Full Pay: Yes or No‘. A full pay video poker machine is one that has the highest known payout percentage, based on its pay table. For example, Jacks or Better is at “9/6 Full Pay” when (betting 1 coin) a Full House pays 9 to 1, and the Flush pays 6 to 1. A machine that pays 9/5 (9 for Full house, 6 for Flush), is not a Full Pay.

Ultimate X Poker (3x/5x/10x) by IGT
Ultimate X Poker is not your typical video poker variant. It’s a power play game featuring 3x, 5x or 10x hands per play. Its charm comes from the ‘X’ factor, which requires a max bet, plus one extra coin, to activate.
When active, every time a hand wins, a multiplier is added to the winning payout potential of the next hand. The height of the multiplier depends on the winning hand that activated it, and the number of hands being played. At ‘Ten Play’, the multiplier for the three highest ranking hands is greater, therefore the RTP is slightly higher (except in Triple Double Bonus Poker).
