The Monster Series Returns to PartyPoker October 28, 2018!

Canada’s favorite PartyPoker tournament series is back and bigger than ever. Less than two weeks from now, the infamous Monster Series kicks off, guaranteeing a full week of non-stop action and no less than $3.4 million to be paid out.

In previous years, the Monster Series poker tournament line-up designated $2.5 million in guaranteed prize pools. In this, its fourth edition, the series has been ramped up by nearly seven figures, guaranteeing well over $3 million to the prize bubblers.

Another common feature that’s been eliminated in the latest scheduling is the presence of mid-range events. Previously, PartyPoker always set out a trio of buy-ins for Micro, Mid and High stakes action. This time, the mid-range events are gone, replaced by the latest online poker craze—progressive knockout bounties.

Last but not least, a promotional campaign is surrounding the event that will see participants win entries to the highly anticipated MILLIONS Online tournament, coming up this December.

PartyPoker Monster Series Returns Oct 28-Nov 4

The PartyPoker Monster Series gets underway on Saturday, October 28, and will continue to run through Sunday, November 4. A staggering 144 events—mirroring 72 Micro and 72 High—will take place in that time. That’s 8 full days of endless online poker tournament action, with buy-ins set to ensure anyone and everyone has a chance at these lucrative prize pools. Even the high ones! The entry fees range from as little as $2.20 up to $33.

Some events are sure to attract a “monster” crowd. In particular, the poker site is expecting an enormous turnout for its $33, $200k GTD 8-Max Progressive Knockout Tournaments (PKTs). Two of these will take place during the series; one on opening day, October 28, at 7:00pm CET (1:00pm ET), and another at the same time on the final day, November 4.

If $33 is a bit too high for your blood, don’t worry. On the micro-stakes end—and at the same times and dates—the Monster Series will host $7.50, $50k GTD 8-Max PKOs.

Other types of tournaments in the series include 6-Max and Mix-Max games in Fast, Turbo, PLO and PLO8 formats.

Monster Promotions to MILLIONS Online Tourney

This December, PartyPoker will host a massive MILLIONS Online poker tournament. The cost of entry is exclusive, catering only to players with a bankroll willing to exhaust $5,300. However, Canada’s favorite online poker site is making sure everyone has a chance to get in on the action with a promotional campaign running alongside the Monster Series.

There are three ways you can win a $5,300 entry to the MILLIONS Online:

Monster Wheel: Players can earn a spin on the Monster Wheel by playing in at least 10 Monster Series events. One lucky spin of that wheel, and the $5,300 entry is yours!
