Keystoners Welcome BetMGM Online Casino PA

BetMGM targets lion’s share of the PA online casino market.

BetMGM Targeting Lion’s Share of PA Online Casino MarketNo one raises a curious brow when you say the name BetMGM. Everyone knows the “MGM” name, and its universal association with the casino gambling industry. MGM Resorts International is the proud owner of multi-million dollar – in some cases, multi-billion dollar – integrated resorts all over the world, with the MGM Grand being one of the most famous casinos in Las Vegas. Hence, the BetMGM brand carries an air of prestige, whether you’re familiar with its underlying operations or not.

BetMGM is the digital wing of its celebrity parent, responsible for the operation of interactive, online gambling productions. They launched their first online casino under the domain PlayMGM.com in New Jersey in 2017, but rebranded to BetMGM with the recent legalization of sports betting in some US states. Since 2019, BetMGM Sports apps have gone live in West Virginia, Indiana, Colorado, and Tennessee. Now, the company is celebrating its latest launch of BetMGM Casino in Pennsylvania.

BetMGM Targets Lion’s Share of PA Online Casino Market

There aren’t many gambling companies as famous as MGM, except maybe Caesars or Hard Rock. Thus BetMGM was certain that, based on reputation alone, they would be able to attract a sizable portion of PA iGaming revenue, despite being among the last operators to bring a product to the table.

Prior to BetMGM’s launch, a dozen other online casinos were already open to Keystoners. One of their largest competitors is sure to be BetRivers Online Casino, the very first PA iGaming operation to launch back in May 2019. The BetRivers name may not be as famous outside of Pennsylvania, but it is tied to two of the state’s largest and most popular gambling destinations, Rivers Casino Pittsburgh and Rivers Casino Philadelphia (formerly Sugar House Casino).

BetMGM Online Casino went live on December 4. The marketing team is using exclusive gaming tactics in hopes of swiftly capturing a large audience. This will include an “exclusive-to-Pennsylvania” series of jackpot on what they’re calling the MGM Grand Millions jackpot network. At launch, its progressive jackpot was bolstering a value of $140,000.

BetMGM CEO Hails Launch of Casino, Sportsbook Pending

None were more excited to announce the long-awaited launch of BetMGM Casino PA than Chief Executive, Adam Greenblatt, in a press release.

“We’re thrilled to bring BetMGM’s online casino offering to Pennsylvania,” said the company head. “With more than 140 different games, including our own in-house progressive jackpot network, we’re delivering the widest range of content currently available in the state.”

Greenblatt went on to explain why he believes BetMGM will rise to the top of the ranks among PA online casinos, despite joining the game more than a year and a half after some of their biggest competitors. “Alongside MGM Resorts and its M life Rewards program, BetMGM will provide players with a truly unique entertainment experience.”

Members of BetMGM PA will enjoy the perks of MGM Resorts famous M Life Rewards program. The online casino automatically link the VIP accounts of online users who already have an existing M Life Rewards membership at any land-based MGM casino. As such, members of PA’s BetMGM Casino will be able to redeem the comp points they earn for playing over the internet, for real world-class experiences at many of MGM’s iconic properties all over the United States; from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, to the Borgata in Atlantic City, to Maryland’s newly built MGM National Harbor.
