You can enter the bonus code, 250MATCH, while registering your account, while making your first deposit, or anytime in between. If you have not used a bonus code during registration, BetRivers will intermittently ask you, via pop-up, if you’d like to secure a bonus by entering a code. So, anytime between registration and submission of deposit, you can enter the code.

What if No Bonus Code Input Box is Provided?

Cash deposits do not give you the chance to enter a bonus code. For example, if you use PayNearMe (Vanilla Direct) at a local retailer, you’ve already made the purchase. Don’t worry, though. You can still redeem the bonus code.

Login to your BetRivers account, click the Cashier button, and choose Pay with Cash from the drop-down menu. Scroll down to the section labeled ‘Recent Transactions’. You’ll see your cash payment here, including all the usual info – the date/time it was created, approved status, and the amount. Keep reading and you’ll see a link labeled ‘Add Code’. Click on that link. A pop-up window appears. Enter the bonus code 250MATCH and press Claim Now. You should receive a confirmation message confirming reception of the bonus.

Now, it’s time to complete the initial wagering requirements.

Complete 1x WR of Deposit to Receive Bonus

According to the terms of the welcome bonus, once a bonus has been activated, it will appear in your My Bonus Bank account. Before you can spend it, you must first complete 1x wagering requirements equal to the amount of your deposit. Win or lose, on a single bet or any number of wagers – it doesn’t matter how you do it. Once you place bets equal to the total amount of the deposit, the bonus money is moved into your Bonus Bank.

The Bonus Bank is a virtual piggy bank that displays how much bonus cash you have built up. Generally speaking, you can choose to activate part or all of your banked bonus cash at any time, depending on how many bonuses you’ve claimed. However, this being your first deposit bonus, you will have only one bonus to activate, and must activate the full amount. The bank is useful for claiming multiple bonuses, and activating them, one at a time, but each time you do, you must activate the full amount of one bonus.

For example, let’s say you claim a $50 bonus on Tuesday, and a $20 bonus on Thursday. On Friday, you decide to activate a bonus. You can either activate the full $20 bonus, or the full $50 bonus, but not both.

To activate a bonus, login to your BetRivers account and click on the Bonus Pig icon. Adjust the slide bar to reflect the amount you wish to use, then press Activate. You’ll be able to see how much bonus money you are actively using in the Cashier.

Note: If you activate bonus cash before completing 1x WR on the deposit, all bets will be drawn from your cash balance – not the active bonus balance – until initial WR is met. Once that’s complete, all qualifying wagers will be drawn from your active bonus balance.

Bet with the Bonus, Keep the Winnings

There is only one restriction that applies to bets made with bonus money. You can bet any lines, on any markets, but the odds must be -200 or greater. Odds greater than -200 would be any odds moving towards a positive integer, such as -190, -100, or +100. Lower odds that would not count towards wagering requirements would be -210, -300, -350, etc.

The bonus requires the same 1x play through as the deposit, placed on qualifying bets (described above). At this point, the bonus becomes more of a ‘free bet’, but with the freedom to place bets of any number and size. You can’t withdrawal the bonus cash before playing through it, and you won’t receive the wager back if you win. You’ll only receive the winnings from the bet, paid directly into your cash balance. Once you’ve done this with the full amount of the bonus, either in a single bet or collectively over multiple bets, WR is complete. At that point, you can withdrawal any and all winnings.

Other Bonus Terms You Need to Know

You can only claim on BetRivers welcome bonus per account, and only at one BetRivers site. You can’t use the BetRivers bonus code at BetRivers Indiana, then travel across the country and try to use it again at BetRivers Colorado, or their sister-site PlaySugarHouse in New Jersey. You can open an account at any of their sister-sites, but the bonus may only be claimed at one.

Unless otherwise stated, all BetRivers bonuses expire after 30 days of issuance, whether they are sitting in your bonus bank or activated for play-through. If you activate a bonus the day you receive it, you’ll have the full 30 days to complete WR. If you wait 10 days to activate it in your bonus bank, you’ll have 20 days left to complete WR.
