Gambling isn’t Everything: Must see Las Vegas shows 2019.

Gambling isn't Everything: Check Out 3 Must See Las Vegas Shows 2019

An extended Vegas vacation doesn’t usually end well for the gutsy gambler. Unless you’re budgeting your bankroll perfectly, odds are you’re going to run out of wagering dollars before the trip is over. If that’s the case, I hope you set aside enough to take in a few of the best shows in Las Vegas.

The Strip isn’t all about feathered showgirls and Magic Mike strip teases, although they are some of the most popular and culturally iconic shows in Sin City. There’s much more to see than perfectly tanned, sinuously muscular skin. While I don’t discourage you from witnessing those classics, Vegas is bringing the best of the best to the table in 2019.

Must See Las Vegas Shows 2019

These are the shows sure to harness the most fascinating and long-lasting memories for their viewers. I’ve seen each one personally over the years, and there’s honestly nothing else like them on the planet. Don’t pay full price for your tickets, tho! Ask your hotel concierge to hook you up with a VIP guest ticket courier, who will take care of everything and discount your tickets up to 50% off. Just remember, this is Vegas – the better you tip, the better they treat you!

Cirque Du Soleil

Cirque Du Soleil at The Bellagio Las Vegas 2019

Edging up on the company’s 40th anniversary, Cirque Du Soleil is among the most iconic shows of Las Vegas. What began as a small Canadian troupe exploded into a fabulous performance that’s taken the entire world by storm. The world-famous circus without animals combines stunning lights, sounds and extreme acrobatics like no other show on earth.

Cirque has been performing its Mystère show at Treasure Island since 1993, and O at the Bellagio since 1998. Zumanity plays at New York, New York, The Beatles Love at The Mirage, Michael Jackson: One at Mandalay Bay and in October, a new show, R.U.N., will appear at Luxor.

Among these, I highly recommend the aquatic-themed O and celebration of the original rock and roll boy band in The Beatles Love, and I can’t wait to see R.U.N. when it hits the theater this fall.

Absinthe

Absinthe makes the heart grow fonder.” Wait, that’s not right… but it’s true! This witty, edgy, performance will surprise and entertain you like nothing else in Vegas. It’s a circus-style show, similar to Cirque, but with burlesque tendencies that cater to adult audiences only.

This quick-witted act is salaciously suggestive, borderline lewd, and laugh-out-loud hilarious. You’ll find it in the Roman Plaza just outside the city’s epochal Caesars Palace.

Classic Cher

I know, this one is a niche-market show that will only appeal to Cher fans, but let’s be realistic – that’s a huge niche-market! Cher has been performing since 1965, and at the age of 73 (yeah, that’s not a typo, ladies and gentlemen), she is still gracing the stage with her classically gorgeous high-energy presence.

Cher is only going to be in Vegas for 12 days this summer, from August 21 – September 1, 2019 at the Park MGM. This may be your last chance find out, in person, why this Emmy, Grammy and Academy Award winner will forever be dubbed the Goddess of Pop.
