Microgaming sinks its teeth into Crazy Tooth Studio slots.
Microgaming is at it again, signing yet another exclusive partnership deal with a small but quality-driven digital gaming software group. Call them “crazy”, but it’s these deals that are delivering new content on the Microgaming Quickfire platform faster than ever.
The newest game on the roster is Arctic Valor Online Slot. It is the debut release of Crazy Tooth Studio, the latest in a long strain of Microgaming partners dating back to around 2012. Crazy Tooth Studio, aka CTS, was founded in 2011. After many years of planning and development, the digital games studio is entering the market with just over two dozen titles in its back pocket, and at least four more already in the works.
Being such a competitive market, small companies like this can have a very hard time surfacing. Anything under 50 gaming titles isn’t going to impress casino operators. A fresh, innovative approach to slot machine design, however, is exactly what a 25-year-old company like Microgaming is looking for. Thus teaming up with CTS and other smaller brands who need a recognizable facade to market their products is a win-win. It keeps Microgaming’s portfolio original and modern, and gives the little guys a kick-start into one of the most competitive industries on the planet.
Crazy Tooth President Ben Hoffman knows all too well the importance of sharing his crew’s talent under a big brand name. He comments:
“We are very excited to be working with Microgaming, whose extraordinary position in the market, diverse portfolio of excellent games and extensive list of operators will enable us to greatly diversify our capabilities and deliver our range of innovative slots and games to new audiences.”
Microgaming Debuts Crazy Tooth Studio Slots Arctic Valor
To announce the new partnership, Microgaming is debuting the latest CTS creation, Arctic Valor. It’s the lab’s first digital slot machine to release exclusively on the Quickfire platform.
Arctic Valor is a visually stunning game that revolves around the legendary Valkyries of Norse mythology. They rule over a 6×4 grid of reels that pays all ways, left to right; a total of 4,096 ways to win. Situated in the icy tundra, the reels contain mighty female warriors, an arsenal of weapons, and are sprinkled with a wintry mix of colorful snowflakes.
Each Valkyrie is capable of stacking on the reels, coming to life in brilliant animation. With each spin, icicles above the reels grow larger. At random, the Falling Ice feature may trigger, wherein one or more icicles falls on a reel. As they crash down, covering up to 3 positions, they can reveal wilds or instant cash prizes.
Three or more Bonus symbol scatters will trigger 7 free spins. During these spins, the icicle become much more volatile. At least one will crash down with every free spin of the reels. When a Valkyrie stacks on a full reel, the icicle above grows to massive size, falling upon a 3-wide set of reels.
Arctic Valor Online Slot Now at Microgaming Casinos
Arctic Valor went live on Microgaming online casinos on Wednesday, February 20, 2019. Hoffman shares his enthusiasm over the company’s premiere release. “We are thrilled to release Arctic Valor as our first exclusive game for Microgaming.”
David Reynolds, Games Publisher for Microgaming, has seen more than his fair share of online slots mechanics. Even he is commending the efforts that go into of Crazy Tooth Studio slots. He calls Arctic Valor a “visually stunning journey” through the wintry landscape of Norse mythology. He finds the game’s “unique and suspenseful icicle feature” especially impressive, and is certain Microgaming’s multitude of online slots fans will too.
