The wait is finally over! Microgaming launches Cash of Kingdoms Online Slot today, October 10, 2018.
Members of Microgaming casinos got a real treat this morning following the highly-anticipated and long-awaited release of the Cash of Kingdoms Slot. This new online slots game was a major focal point at the Microgaming Bar during the ICE Totally Gaming expo in London in February. Now, it’s finally here.
Since its inception in 2012, LeoVegas has been recognized several times for innovation in the gaming industry. With no less than 15 awards, it has established itself as the hub of real money gaming entertainment in Canada.
Since then LeoVegas has expanded its portfolio of offerings, the most notable addition being a high-end "live dealer casino". To accomplish this feat, LeoVegas invested in state of the art technology, including real time camera systems coupled with top of the line security systems to mimick the brick and mortar casino feel online; and with the most attractive dealers you have ever seen.
LeoVegas covers the entire pantheon of classical games from slots, table games like blackjack, video poker, progressive slots, scratch cards, to casual games. The games are powered by Playson, slick and easy to use software, which offers the whole gamut of a premium gambling experience.

Cash of Kingdoms is the creation of Slingshot Studios, one of Microgaming’s latest independent studio partners. This marks the first release for Slingshot, showing off the superb graphic rendering and storytelling capabilities of their design team.
“We’ve been anticipating the release of Cash of Kingdoms ever since Microgaming previewed the game at ICE Totally Gaming with a spectacular acrobatic foot archer on our medieval-themed stand. Built with strong and regular features, which are amplified by paying both ways, the game delivers plenty of on-screen action on any device, together with a popular theme that is sure to make it a player favourite,” says Microgaming’s Games Publisher David Reynolds.
“Slingshot Studios has brought a dynamic addition to Microgaming’s diverse portfolio with Cash of Kingdoms, and we cannot wait to unveil more exclusive creations from them in the coming months.”
Slingshot’s Head of Studio, Richard Vermaak, comments on his enthusiasm for the brand’s first official release. “We are extremely excited to release Cash of Kingdoms, the first game under our studio brand. Our team has worked hard building a product we hope players will have as much fun playing as we’ve had creating.”
Cash of Kingdoms Online Slot Worth the Wait?
Now that we can finally play the game, I have to say yes—it was worth the wait! It’s teeming with features and delivers well in the entertainment department. It’s got a low variance, so the wins are rarely worth more than the bet, but they do come very frequently.
Cash of Kingdoms is a standard 5×3 reel game with 15 paylines that pay in both directions; without have to pay for both directions. Nice touch, Slingshot! Its high symbols include five main characters—warrior, mage, archer, dwarf and thief. Each of their weapons as the lower-paying variety; sword and shield, spell book, bow and arrows, gunpowder barrel, and bag of coins.
The game’s logo is wild, substituting for all other standard symbols. It only appears on reels 2, 3 and 4. Wilds stack on reels 2 and 4 in the base game, and super-stack on those reels during free spins. When wilds stack fully on reels 2 or 4, they trigger the Invading Wilds Feature, spreading to cover an adjacent reel. With a full stack on reels 2 and 4, they invade reel 3 for a massive payout in both directions. If this occurs in free spins, the total payout doubles.
The treasure chest is the scatter, also appearing only on reels 2, 3 and 4. Scatter pays award 2x the total bet for landing 3 anywhere on the reels, and trigger 10 Free Spins. Every additional Scatter that shows up during the free games will award +1 free spin.
The new Cash of Kingdoms Online Slot has an RTP of 96.28%, min/max bet of $0.15 to $480, and a payout capacity of 100,000 coins per spin. I haven’t actually won anything on it yet, but it’s definitely an enjoyable game. Excellent job Slingshot! I can’t wait to see what they come up with next.
