Where to find the best and newest slot machines for 2018
Every month, a throng of major iGaming software development firms release new online slot machines into cyberspace. More than two dozen have been released in April 2018 already, and we’re not even halfway through the month. Considering online casinos have been around for the last two decades, that should give you some idea of just how many of these games are available in the global iGaming space.
Since its inception in 2012, LeoVegas has been recognized several times for innovation in the gaming industry. With no less than 15 awards, it has established itself as the hub of real money gaming entertainment in Canada.
Since then LeoVegas has expanded its portfolio of offerings, the most notable addition being a high-end "live dealer casino". To accomplish this feat, LeoVegas invested in state of the art technology, including real time camera systems coupled with top of the line security systems to mimick the brick and mortar casino feel online; and with the most attractive dealers you have ever seen.
LeoVegas covers the entire pantheon of classical games from slots, table games like blackjack, video poker, progressive slots, scratch cards, to casual games. The games are powered by Playson, slick and easy to use software, which offers the whole gamut of a premium gambling experience.

Over at one of my favorite haunts, Royal Vegas Casino, the instant-play slots menu offers 350+ titles. They are all Microgaming slots, and there number doesn’t even include the ones provided in the brand’s downloadable casino client. That version has 800+.
Fortunately, this casino makes it easy to find the newest online slots 2018 has to offer. They appear at the top of the menu, with a handy little “NEW” sign in the corner. Unfortunately, not every online casino makes it so easy. If your favorite iGaming destination doesn’t advertise their new slots, I’ll show you how and where to find them.
If you’re like me, you know that the newest slot games are always worth checking out. Often times, developers will instate a higher RTP at the launch to harvest more player interest. Plus, casinos like to promote them with special free spins. So without further ado, let’s discuss…
Finding the Newest Slot Machines for 2018
Along with playing the games, I’m also a constant researcher and journalist in the iGaming industry. I’m always on the lookout for new and exciting slots. I’ve found that the easiest way to find them is to go directly to the source.
To do this effectively, you’ll need to know the names of the software companies that develop them. If you already have one or more favorite online casinos, find out what software they employ, and start there.
New Microgaming Slots
As I mentioned above, Microgaming has one of the largest slot collections on the web. They introduce no less than two new games every month. You could head over to the Microgaming website and check out the news section, but there’s a quicker, and much more interesting way.
I visit the Microgaming Official YouTube Channel several times a month. Here, you’ll learn about new games and see a demo of the gameplay before they launch, along with the upcoming release date. These games can be found at all Microgaming Casino as soon as they launch.
New NetEnt Slots
NetEnt is comparable to Microgaming in terms of slots volume and frequent releases. This company also hosts a YouTube channel, which is good for seeing what’s coming up. But I find the actual website to be more useful in finding new slot machines. A quick visit to the NetEnt Games page, and you can actually play the newest releases (for free, not real money). Unless identified as an “exclusive” launch, you’ll find these games at all NetEnt casinos.
New Playtech Slots
Another iGaming juggernaut, Playtech has been around for nearly as long as the online casino industry itself. However, finding their newest games isn’t so easy. They offer a YouTube channel, but new content isn’t always added here. Their website offers a Games section, but it’s ordered alphabetically, with no filters for sorting. It’s also not a complete list.
The easiest way to learn about their new slot machines is to monitor the Playtech News page. Here, you’ll learn about all the current affairs of the company – more than you want to know, probably. But if a new online slot is coming, they’ll mention it here.
Other Slots Companies Worth Looking Into
Microgaming, NetEnt and Playtech are the largest slots developers in the digital gaming world, but there are many more companies worth looking into. Below is a list of other great iGaming firms, and links to find their newest online slots in 2018.
A relatively new brand, I love Habanero slot machines for their in-depth plots. Every game has a backstory. They’re also feature-rich and incredibly well graphicized. Use the link provided to try out any of their 80+ slots and other games for free. The newest are always listed first.
Another favorite in the graphics department, Yggdrasil’s innovative slots features are extremely popular with online and mobile casino fans. You can try every game they’ve ever made, with a search queue that’s sortable by date (newest first).
iSoftBet’s portfolio page offers player’s a chance to try out all their new slots games. You can even demo their upcoming releases before they launch. Look for game titles with the ‘Coming Soon‘ label.
This company has risen quickly in the ranks among top slots producers. You can check out all of their gaming options on the website. Choose ‘Slot‘ on the left of the menu, then order them by ‘Date‘ on the right to see the newest slot machines for 2018 first.
