I recently discovered Nolimit City, a small digital games design firm based in Stockholm, Sweden and Malta. It wasn’t until I heard of their latest online slot machine release that they caught my attention. That’s not surprising since this is only the seventh game to launch on the small but talent-driven portfolio.
After doing a little research, I found that Nolimit City has been around since 2013. Their office is comprised of expert game designers and managers from some of the largest firms in the world. It’s taken them a few years to get their independent platform ready. Now that it is, they’re producing new content in rapid succession.
Online Slots Maker Hits the Ground Running
With all their ducks in a row, Nolimit City has been releasing new games since late 2016. Their first creations, Space Arcade and Creepy Carnival, went live in September of that year, followed by Oktoberfest (in October, of course). In 2017, they launched two comically themed games in their Kitchen Drama series, Sushi Mania and BBQ Frenzy, plus a futuristic motif in Wixx.
This week, they’re proudly celebrating the successful launch of lucky #7, Casino Win Spin, on January 31, 2018.
“With Casino Win Spin we continued refining our glossy and fine-polished graphics to create something spectacular, adding to our great portfolio of games,” says Malcolm Mizzi. A former commercial accounts manager for NYX Gaming, Mizzi now heads the Sales & Key Accounts Management department at Nolimit City.
His enthusiasm is palpable as he describes their latest creation as a “high-paced machine” with numerous “thrilling features to look out for.”
Per Lindheimer has been the Product Owner at Nolimit City since 2015. He came aboard following a 4-year stint in the same role at world-class online slots development firm NetEnt. He is especially proud of the new Casino Win Spin slot.
“This is a personal favourite of mine out of the titles we’ve created the last few months,” he says, and “can’t wait to see it hit our partners pages. The features are making your heart race – both in the main game and in the guaranteed win respin feature.”
New Online Slots: Casino Win Spin
This new online slots game comes with 5 reels, 20 paylines and a slightly above average RTP of 96.74%. Its logo is reminiscent of the famous Welcome to Las Vegas sign, and the reel-set is designed to pop out at players with vivid 3D animation.
It’s a classic fruit machine in many ways, packed with retro symbols like clovers, 7s, bells, bars, strawberries, oranges, lemons and playing card suits.
The green clover is a standard wild, and the gold clover an expanding wild. However, all other symbols have the potential to become wild when special features occur. All features are reliant upon the game’s Win Spin Hot Zones, located on the center position of reels 2 and 4.
Spin ’til You Win: If any two alike symbols appear in both Win Spin Hot Zone positions, the Spin ’til You Win feature triggers. The symbol that triggered the feature will become wild. The reels will respin until a winning combination pays out.
The longer it takes to payout, the better. On the first spin, the triggering symbol is wild. If no win occurs, the second spin will add a multiplier of 2x-5x. On spins 3+, a spreading wild will begin on the central position of reel 3, and continue spreading with each spin until you win.
Hot Zone Expanding Wilds: If a wild clover appears in either hot zone position, it will turn gold and expand to cover the entire reel. If clovers appear in both hot zones on the same spin, all of reels 2, 3 and 4 will turn into expanding wilds.
