The Rise of Olympus Online Slot hit Play’n Go casinos last week, and it’s got some interesting qualities that players are sure enjoy. Equipped with a 5×5 reel set, and instead of utilizing specific paylines, the game pays winning combination when 3 or more alike symbols appear in a row, horizontally or vertically. Instead of spinning reels, it features cascading symbols that fall into place. All symbols involved in a win (except wilds) explode, and the remaining symbols drop into place for a chance at more winning combinations.
One of the three Greek Gods, Hades, Poseidon and Zeus, will be looking over the reels at all ties. Each can randomly trigger their own Hand of God feature on any non-winning spin. When Zeus triggers, two sets of symbols are completely destroyed. Poseidon will randomly place up to 2 wilds on the reels. Hades transforms one set of symbols int another.
The Hand of God features instantly trigger when the Wrath of Olympus Meter is fully charged. The meter charges for consecutive wins, and resets if no win occurs. Each consecutive win also increases the payout multiplier by 1x, up to as high as 20x. Multipliers also reset following a loss.

Anything new from Play’n Go is usually worth taking out for a spin. Overall, the Rise of Olympus Online Slot is extremely entertaining; probably among the top 3 Greek God themed games I’ve played in a very long time.
It’s not one for the faint of wallet, though. It has a 96.5% RPT and high volatility, so the wins don’t come very often, but pay pretty well when they do.
