A tradition for nearly 140 years, CNE is among the top 5 agricultural fairs in all of North America. As fabulous as the event is, there is one drawback… it’s only open for 5 weeks each summer. That means you’ve only got a few weeks left to visit the spectacular exhibition before it closes on September 3, 2018. That includes the enormously popular adult entertainment venue, CNE Casino.
The Ex Casino at CNE Toronto
Canada plays host to well over one hundred casinos. There are opulent casinos, modern casinos, classically elegant casinos, big and small casinos… but there’s nothing quite like The Ex at Toronto’s annual CNE. If you’ll be in town anytime from Friday, August 17 to Monday, September 3, the Canadian National Exhibition is the place to be. And if you have any inclination for gambling, The Ex is the place to do it.
Located inside CNE, the casino entrance is in the northeast corner of the Better Living Centre, beyond the grand archway known as Princes’ Gates. The archway alone is a near-century-old historical structure, dating back to the 1920’s. This year’s rendition will feature a wide variety of popular table games; Multi-Action Blackjack, Roulette, WAR, Spanish 21, and 3-Card Poker.
The casino features an elegant outdoor patio, specially licensed for gambling. Guests will be treated to free live entertainment nightly, and a variety of delectable treats for sale along the midway.
CNE Casino also hosts a large, air-conditioned poker room. Texas Hold’em and Omaha Poker cash games are always on tap from noon-6am. Returning this year is the CNE $160,000 Hold’em Poker Tournament. Daily $100+$20 Qualifier rounds are held from noon-2am and award seats in the semi-finals; in turn, awarding seats to the $6,400 Poker Tournament Final.
Other Attractions at Canadian National Exhibition 2018
There’s no limit of things to do and see every day at CNE 2018. This weekend, visitors can catch the Warriors’ Day Parade, visit the Robotics show, or enjoy the hilarious Madame Guillotine. The kids will love the Genius Lab Playground, comedic musical stylings of Team T&J, Super Dogs and the Pizza Nova make-your-own-pizza event. And that’s only the tip of the iceberg.
